Celebrations
Congratulations to Michael Jackson who is celebrating his 30 year anniversary with PKF Carr & Stanton this month. Michael joined the business in November 1987, after completing his degree at Massey University, and went on to become a Director in 1999. Over the past 30 years, Michael has seen the economic landscape in Hawke’s Bay evolve significantly into a lifestyle destination and one of the country’s better performing regions. He’s seen lots of change across the accounting industry over this time, especially in the area of technology and the value it brings to clients and their businesses. Michael is proud to have been involved in some significant business transactions benefiting clients in both the local and national economies. He values the relationships he has built with clients, and within the community, over the years and looks forward to continuing to help drive business success in the future. Whilst Michael is very humble, the team here wanted to ensure that this milestone was recognised. We all enjoy working with Michael and appreciate his dedication, loyalty and exemplary leadership.
New arrivals
Congratulations to Erica Rasmussen and her partner Adam on the arrival of their baby girl Hannah. Congratulations also to Angela Filipo and her husband Daniel who recently welcomed their third baby, Sophie. Both babies are doing well and cause great excitement when they regularly visit the office.
New team members
Michael, Campbell and the team at PKF Carr & Stanton are pleased to welcome Lisa Mason as our new Business and Finance Manager. Lisa has recently joined us after several years as the Operations Manager at Crowe Horwath. She really enjoys working with both people and figures and has a real passion for team culture and business performance.
We are also pleased to welcome Pam White, who started with us on Tuesday, as our new tax administrator. Pam has a strong background in business administration and she is really looking forward to working alongside our team in the tax administration area.
